Material is placed on this site for the general public about the history and operation of
"The Lambourn Valley Railway."

The material within the LVR site has been forthcoming from private individuals and from personal collections supplied by 2nd and 3rd family generations, its original source unknown.
In many cases it has proved virtually impossible to trace copyright ownership given that some of the pictures are now in excess of 100 years old.
Where possible, photos have been credited, but In the event of any un-intentional breach of someone else's copyright, the copyright owner is requested to provide details by e-mail and the material will be credited or removed accordingly.

Please bear in mind that this site has been designed purely out of a wish to preserve and make available the story of a small part of railway history and most certainly NOT for personal gain in any form whatsoever.
